Job Description

The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is looking for Senior Product Development to join its Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) function, focus on target state of CCR. ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. ICM coordinates with credit management groups across ICG businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices.

The CCR Product Development team within ICM is responsible for building tools to a) provide in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve business problems and develop new, innovative solutions b) build tools to help measure, monitor and control counterparty risk for institutional clients and c) portfolios and businesses, with a focus on counter-party and collateral risk to ensure the risks are being properly measured and controlled in accordance with the Firm’s risk policies.

The Product Developer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • The Product Developer is focus on the end-to-end CCR lifecycle (CCR target state) by working with stakeholders in EMEA time zone and will also scope product releases, agreeing to and tracking business priorities.
  • Additional CCR target state, the developer will spent significant amount time on CCR Data quality; 1) Define end to end Data quality KPIs and set up governance Data quality 2) Working with Business to come up with early detection of DQ issues 3) Remediation of current CCR related Data quality issues.
  • Works in close co-ordination with Technology, Business Managers and senior stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives of CCR target state.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
  • Proven track record as change agent, with ability to encourage and embrace innovative ideas and solutions
  • Self-aware with ability to adapt to various situations, rapidly assimilate and report on complex information while creating a future vision
  • Deep knowledge in Front office Valuation, Margin, Settlementfor both Equity and Fixed Income OTC Derivatives.
  • Prior experience in technology teams will be great plus.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills by working with Technology
  • Excellent in building professional relationships with staff and clients.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
