The Authorisations function is responsible for delivering an effective Authorisations framework for the PRA, ensuring compliance with various UK statutory requirements, in accordance with the PRA's risk tolerance and decision-making framework. We are recognised, within and outside the Bank, as the centre of excellence for Authorisations knowledge, providing mentorship and direction on all regulatory transaction issues, always ensuring high quality outputs. We effectively combine deep technical knowledge and practical implementation. We are at the forefront of developments affecting Authorisations by making judgements to arrive at decisions in partnership with Supervision and others on behalf of the PRA, and ensuring the appropriate management of critical events in a firm's lifecycle.

2) Proof reading documents drafted by member of staff and formatting into professional format.
3) To be able to navigate and communicate large documents proficiently
4) Providing detailed descriptions of graphs and diagrams to member of staff.
5) Providing admin support where accessibility software is less effective e.g. Outlook Calendar management, and other local software platforms.

Level of support required will change depending on daily workload and a key success factor for the role will be the development of a sensitive and respectful working relationship to respond to these varying needs.

From 6 June 2022, we expect colleagues to spend a minimum of 40% of their working time in the office per month.  Subject to that minimum requirement, individuals and managers should work together to find what works best for them and their team.

We are also committed to making adjustments for candidates and employees where possible, and have partnered with external expert organisations to support us in this.  We are a member of the Disability Confident scheme, and people who wish to apply under this scheme should check the box in the ‘Candidate Personal Information’ under the ‘Disability Confident Scheme’ section of the application.

We anonymise applications so hiring managers will not be able to see your personal information when reviewing your submission, including your CV. Please take your time to complete the application form questions carefully and in detail as requested. The application questions form an important part of the initial selection process and any incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
