The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Support Care officer. Your responsibilities will include: • To provide case work to customers to resolve their housing needs and build confidence and skills to live independently • To work alongside mediations officers to assist young people to resolve their housing needs and build confidence and skills to live independently • Carry out assessments to identify and prioritise needs • Use SMART goal planning to provide needs led holistic support • Create an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop, learn and develop skills towards independence

What you will needs to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will: • Have Knowledge and experience of issues relating to the housing sector including homelessness • A practical solution focussed approach to problem solving • Ability to work flexibly and in a busy environment • Understand of safeguarding adults and children • Demonstrate experience of working with vulnerable adults • Good level of IT, literacy and interpersonal skills
