Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience within Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Transport
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data to assist with the preparation of freight metrics
- Experience with domestic freight, with a strong understanding of road and rail transport
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of project management principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Proficiency in SAP and Transport/Freight Management Systems
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to problem solve and present creative solutions

Role Responsibilities:
- Review group inbox and action requests accordingly
- Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement
- Maintenance of various supply chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets
- Liaise with various stakeholders in order to collate information and data
- Assistant in the relationship management of freight carriers and external stakeholders
- Handle negotiations with external service providers in order to ensure optimum rates and results
- Maintain strict confidentiality in regard to details gatheredÂÂ
- Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks
