Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience within Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Transport
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data to assist with the preparation of freight metrics
• Experience with domestic freight, with a strong understanding of road and rail transport
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of project management principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Proficiency in SAP and Transport/Freight Management Systems
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to problem solve and present creative solutions

Role Responsibilities:

• Review group inbox and action requests accordingly
• Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement
• Maintenance of various supply chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets
• Liaise with various stakeholders in order to collate information and data
• Assistant in the relationship management of freight carriers and external stakeholders
• Handle negotiations with external service providers in order to ensure optimum rates and results
• Maintain strict confidentiality in regard to details gathered 
• Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks
