Responsibilities
- Creates a vendor engagement model, evaluates vendor readiness, and captures vendor knowledge for use across the product line.
- Collecting & validating specifications for all types electrical/mechanical components (MLCCs/Inductor/Transformer /Semiconductor etc.) used in Cloud server industry application.
- Prepare/Review or provide feedback to component quality management requirements.
- Collaborate with different teams (such as design, reliability, quality engineers) to setup Microsoft quality requirement via meeting, conversations and emails.
- Drive data quality, data quality development with key manufacturing partners in the Asia region and be a part of our global data team
- Design and develop large-scale highly configurable, scalable, robust data processing solution to process(transform) large scale data received from Cloud Supplier factories and Microsoft data centers. Enable visualization to draw deep data insights using Power BI.
- Implement and productionize data pipelines and automation to support product and business needs.
- Data driven decision making to influence our teams, business, and partners.
- Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and be able to propose and execute on optimal solutions.
- Develop and deliver key data insight solution to the CHME quality organization – empowering a data drive decision culture.
- You will be the local point of contact to data platforms and tools.
Qualifications
- 4 years working experience with MLCCs/Inductor/Transformer /Semiconductor at Electrical industry and supplier quality management or component engineer for Electronical component.
- Understanding of key component parameters for electrical and mechanical parts and able to identify alternate parts and manufacturers with Fit, Form and Function analysis and reliability test data & reports.
- Deep knowledge in different compliance requirements like RoHS, REACH, Full Material Content Declaration, etc.
- Willing to take the business trips with 40% of overall capacity as needed.
- Able to communicate effectively in written and oral manner, so that all stakeholders have clear understanding of issues and metrics.
- Able to maintain a broad perspective and identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
- Can use and apply complex statistics to evaluate product reliability and highlight potential product risks.
- Can identify and apply successful strategies and drive implementation improvements to engineering methods and quality practices across the supplier’s product or process portfolio.
- Has another type electrical/mechanical components Quality management experience is preferred.
- Manufacturing & testing experience on Electronic components/PCB Assemblies is an added advantage.
- Microsoft Power BI/python is preferred.
Experience Required:
- Experience in component selection based on the requirements provided by Design Engineers.
- Experienced in PFMEA and Quality Control Plan and Kaizen/CIP projects
- Direct suppliers’ factory process/quality/testing management or Component Engineer experience, preferably in cloud/enterprise product area
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
