THE ROLE:
AMD’s Cores Organization delivers industry leading CPU’s and caches that are the foundation of AMD’s server, client, and gaming business. We are looking for a verification co-op/intern engineer to join this innovative team as a technical contributor for the Summer 2022 Term. They will build their expertise as they help the team deliver cutting-edge designs in a dynamic environment. The candidate will join the team based in Fort Collins, CO.
THE PERSON:
The candidate should have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to details and a willingness and desire to work and grow their skills in the area of microprocessor verification. This position requires creativity and innovation, but also excellent verbal and written communication skills. We work in small teams, but we are part of a large cross-site Core’s organization, so teamwork is also vital to our success.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
We are looking for candidates enrolled in BS or MS engineering or computer science programs who are interested in the following aspects of microprocessor design:
Co-op/intern would be involved in these efforts to design and verify a high-performance microprocessor core.
