Job Description

The US Business Applications Customer Transformation team goes to market by Industry. We are industry first and outcome focused, just like our customers. Industry alignment and strategy are critical to showing up differently and driving meaningful, outcome-based dialogues with our customers. The Manufacturing PMM will lead our marketing efforts in Manufacturing but will also serve as our Energy and Mixed Reality PMM due to the proximity to manufacturing processes and outcomes. The Manufacturing PMM will both develop and execute campaigns and programs specifically for both the Discrete and Process Manufacturing segments. In addition, the Manufacturing PMM will be our US liaison to drive our customer engagement applications cross industry.  This is an exciting time to be in the Dynamics 365 business!

Responsibilities

Accelerate market awareness and deliver portfolio growth for Business Applications in the Manufacturing Industry focused on outcomes across the value chain. Position Microsoft as industry leader to help manufacturers create more resilient supply chains, transform their workforce, engage customers in new ways and build more agile factories.

Drive digital transformation for manufacturing customers across our enterprise and small, medium & corporate businesses who are seeking outcomes in areas such as addressing the skills gap, increasing first time fix rates, maximizing OEE, decreasing equipment down time, creating new revenue streams through connected products, on-time delivery, and operations optimization

Provide deep customer insights, market insights, competitive insights, sales pipeline and performance data for Manufacturing to leadership as part of the rhythm of the business. Mine these insights to develop breathtaking go-to-market campaigns to win market share and grow the business, in Manufacturing and cross industry.

Be data driven by gathering information on competitors’ pricing, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.

Create contemporary commercial tools, building on the Challenger mindset as a foundation, to effectively position Microsoft Business Applications to CXOs to enable Outcome Selling in the field.

Creation or development of a market opportunity analysis, segmentation and targeting, and value propositions and positioning for Manufacturing.

Proactively monitor the internal and external environment to anticipate opportunities. Seeks and seizes new opportunities and follows through to create impact.

Test, measure, and track effectiveness of launch of programs with the field and partners ensuring they land and deliver the expected outcomes; apply learnings and insights to pivot, persevere, or double down.

Partner with peers to ensure communication and sales enablement is streamlined, simple, and effective.

Deliver Dynamics 365 growth and market share for Enterprise and SMC in the US Subsidiary.

Effectively work with Microsoft manufacturing partners to activate all paths to market ensuring pipeline coverage to achieve revenue targets

Understands business priorities and propose investments for Enterprise and SMC offerings.

Applies knowledge in messaging, customer/partner advocacy, promotion, channel implementation, or field readiness to contribute to strategy and execution excellence for Manufacturing and cross industry with CE.

Collaborates with others to validate and review long-range plans.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience in marketing and/or sales required

Bachelor’s Degree required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven strength in positions of sales, technical and/or change leadership

Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills

Knowledge of Finance & Supply Chain or ERP Software is preferred

Knowledge of Manufacturing industry is preferred.

Experience delivering outcomes in Finance & Operations or Customer Experience is a plus

Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment

Is self-aware and has negotiation and conflict-management skills

Results oriented team player who leads by example, holds him or herself accountable for performance, and takes absolute ownership

Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs

Experience in working with clients at the CXO levels with deep impact in industries is a plus

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $130,600 and $169,100.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
