Experience / Knowledge / Ability Requirements

Typically, candidates are expected to have an engineering or science degree (or equivalent qualification) and have applicable experience in some of the key skill-sets for the role. Previous experience in the aerospace/defence sector would be beneficial, but is not essential: a background in systems engineering, product development, software development, or similar discipline would be suitable. Experience working in a delivery-focussed environment would also be advantageous. Practitioners of SysML, Rhapsody and DOORS tools is desirable, but training/mentoring will be provided where needed.

What we're looking for:

• Systems design/systems engineering experience in software or electronics/avionics
• Experience developing or maintaining Complex Systems
• Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Applied experience in requirements definition and management
• Proficient in the use of requirements management tools (ideally DOORS)
• Proactive with a mind for product-line development and systems thinking.
