The RoleWe’re starting a new project in the South Island and are looking for a Project Manager to join us. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be involved in the upfront planning and construction of a complex, multidiscipline engineering project.
You will have the proven technical expertise and leadership skills to make a significant impact and enhance business performance within our project.
Managing the full project life cycle, you have operated at strategic and operational levels, developing and delivering large infrastructure projects that your clients have been proud of, within budget and timeframe.
What we need from youYou will have proven experience delivering quality projects and be passionate about heavy civil / structures projects.
You will be ambitious and motivated to progress your career within the civil space. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or other relevant tertiary education, and knowledge of New Zealand standardsSignificant project experience in heavy civilStrong contractual and commercial acumenThe ability to identify risk and opportunityWell-honed negotiation skills, including an innate ability to know what to push for and whenStrong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients and stakeholdersA passion to succeed in business with a strong commercial acumenExcellent leadership and mentorship qualitiesFulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
