Able to work safely at height and compliant with fall restraint, fall arrest mandatory requirements.

Familiar with crane operations, correct signalling/communications and legislation.

Able to read and interpret Structural Steel general arrangement drawings for the purposes of steel erection on site.

Able to mark out and set out on site for the purposes of structural steel erection.

Able to stand, fix and secure structural steel elements safely and according to drawings and within prescribed tolerances,

Able to liaise with the client to ensure that all works are performed in a safe and timely manner to the satisfaction of the client.

To erect and secure structural steel to the point of signing off and handing over to the client.

Able to operate (after relevant training) all manner of Elevated work platforms for the purposes of erecting structural steel.

Able to identify extra work that falls outside of contractual requirements and inform Supervisor/Site Manager as and when necessary.
