About this role
This is a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract
The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver credit decision engines and associated strategy deployments and their governance pan BT, for new acquisition and existing customer management.
Satisfying full legal and regulatory requirements, BTs Enterprise Risk Framework, the Consumer CFU strategy whilst providing personalised, agile, robust, sustainable and effective processes and strategy.
This role will be a key member of a team with direct impact on both P&L and customer experience, and manages systems supporting 3.2m credit checks per year and managing customer base of more than 19m accounts, managing over £6.2bn of monthly credit limit exposure maintaining £500m monthly billed revenue whilst protecting the customer and BT from bad debt.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Use your extensive professional and technical expertise and experience in the field of acquisition credit risk and high-volume consumer behavioural credit scoring for our large existing consumer base
Maintain and execute the current and evolving BT Group Consumer credit strategy across our full customer base
Implement, manage and configure the decision management platforms used to assess and set controls based on the ongoing credit risk of the consumer base pan BT
Use wide-ranging knowledge of the Telecoms industry and specific knowledge of BT to influence teams across the business
Third party relationship management with credit bureaux and with vendors of decision analytic platforms for new and existing customer management
Represent Credit Risk on Transformational programmes deputising for the Manager as required
You'll have the following skills & experience
Expertise in credit management of new acquisition and existing account management in a high volume consumer and SME environment
Proven track record of delivering decision management platforms, processes and configuring strategies
Expert knowledge of credit risk decision engines for credit checking new applications
Expert knowledge in design and build of decision flows, strategy configuration, testing and deployment
Knowledge of Consumer Credit regulations and guidelines including Ofcom, FCA and JMLSG
Great communications, negotiation and influencing skills
Knowledge of the Telco industry, processes, systems, products and customer life cycle across all channels and regions
