Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will help shape the multi-annual marketing strategy and delivery of business specific metrics. You will play a key role in supporting teams’ execution by enabling them with better resource controlling tools and approaches, aligning across areas, and proposing re-allocation of efforts to where it serves users, businesses, and partners the most. In this role, you will develop scalable solutions that will allow the expansion of successful activities and maximize efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy workstreams, define problem statements, propose methodologies, utilize success metrics, and implementation approaches.
  • Analyze data to find responses to complex strategic problem statements.
  • Develop, align, and implement tools and templates (e.g., worksheets, documents, slides, and dashboards) that enable teams to more effortlessly control their marketing budgets, analyze their returns, and aggregate/compare performance consistently across areas.
  • Gather and analyze incremental investment opportunities, propose principles for reallocation of resources between areas, and document learnings from campaigns.
  • Drive the delivery of the multi-annual marketing strategy and quarterly cross-product objectives and key results.
