Under the leadership of the Commercial Director, the team is responsible for strategy, rights acquisition and relationships, new revenue opportunities, partnerships and insight. It acts as the face of Sky Sports to the wider industry and internally to the wider Sky and Comcast businesses.

What you’ll do:

• You will help ensure Sky Sports makes the right decisions to achieve our vision – to be the most inclusive and innovative sports business in Europe. You will be involved in key projects that will have a significant impact on the future of Sky Sports and be tasked with ensuring Sky Sports remains a growing, profitable, and diversified sports business.
• Report to the Sky Sports Head of Strategy & Business Development
• Support and work to deliver the Sky Sports strategic plan and vision
• Day-to-day management of multiple strategic projects and be able to demonstrate sound judgement in making strategic recommendations
• Explore growth opportunities to engage broader audiences and improve the experience and advocacy of Sky Sports subscribers, with a particular focus on engaging younger and female audiences
• Work with multiple functions across Sky Sports, Sky, NBC Sports, and the wider Comcast group to seek innovative solutions to our challenges
• Present and influence senior directors and executives within Sky Sports and Sky

What you’ll bring:

• An interest in learning about the business of sport – whether or not you are a sports fan!
• Excellent analytical skills such as data manipulation, financial analysis and business case development
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• 3+ years’ experience in a strategy, finance, commercial or consulting environment
• Strong collaboration skills, being able to support, listen and influence at all levels
• An entrepreneurial mindset to problem solving
