About the job

As a Strategic Operations Manager, you will be a key contributor to the Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) Global Partner Operations Team (Partner Ops). Partner Ops are specialists, providing supplier security guidance, strategic planning, and operational resilience consultation, as we collectively help protect and enable Google product areas and services. The Physical Security Audit program is a global program that ensures third-party compliance with Google’s Security policies and procedures.

In this role, you will provide guidance on risk mitigation and remediation, ensuring processes and controls meet best practices, partnering closely with both Google Site leads and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop the physical security audit program, working in partnership with functional stakeholders; identify physical security risks and vulnerabilities, leading remediation efforts
• Maintain and engage in cross-functional relationships established to effectively mitigate and manage supplier risk and resilience
• Manage the commercial relationship and work of a team of vendors who assist with conducting physical security audits on behalf of Google
• Utilize technology, tooling, and platforms to accelerate risk mitigation efforts
• Identify, plan, and implement operational efficiencies in security and resilience practices across supplier and third-party engagements
