In this role, you will work on everything from low level code, through Android platform systems, to test and telemetry infrastructure, and collaboration with key external hardware partners.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ensuring that the drivers enabling us to interface with the underlying hardware are reliable, accurate, and easily updatable.
• Deliver challenging new technology across driver design, accuracy testing, rollout, and telemetry. Help push the boundaries of existing Google systems.
• Help define the right way for us to keep up to date across the Android ecosystem.
• Select and design the software, infrastructure, and processes that will validate vendor drivers updates as safe for users.
• Design and implement new systems that will be critical to growing machine learning in the Android ecosystem: test design, infrastructure and reporting, field telemetry on reliability, and safe rollout to devices.
