Are you a Staff Accountant looking for your next exciting opportunity? Robert Half is partnered with a growing organization in the Markham area who is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to their team. This is a full time permanent position which offer hybrid/remote work options and great benefits! As the Staff Accountant, you will be reporting to the Director of FInance and responsible for full cycle accounting of for multiple entities across Canada, US and Europe.

• Review and support accounts payable and accounts receivable clerk
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Support with annual budgeting and forecasting
• Perform monthly P& L variance analysis
• Support with year-end functions and audit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of overall general accounting experience
• Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business related
• Comprehensive knowledge of Month-end Close Activities
• Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• ERP experience required and intermediate MS Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
