SRE Site Reliability Engineers, Consultants OR Leads

• Contract Duration: 6-12 months renewable
• Worksite: Remote, anywhere in Canada

Our client, a global IT company, is looking for multiple SRE Site Reliability Engineers, Consultants OR Leads.

1 position- Holds overall responsibility for technical deliverables of the crew and ensures consistency and execution of approved architecture.

1 position - Leads the delivery team through the engineering effort to support the program timelines. Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. Site reliability engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.

3 positions- Has experience in and is responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. Site reliability engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.

2 positions- Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. Site reliability engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics. Supports the Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

• Knowledge and practical experience of Java Springboot
• Prior experience writing high performance back-end applications
• Practical experience writing data pipelines and building multi-threaded applications
• Working knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms
• Solid understanding of Microservice and principles
• Knowledge of CI / CD concepts and docker
• Familiarity with Kafka and/or similar technology
