AMD Research is an entrepreneurial research organization with a consistent track record of driving research innovations into AMD products. We are a global leader in the development of the world’s most sophisticated high-performance computers (HPC), such as El Capitan, the world-leading 2 exaflop supercomputer.
We are seeking a senior architect and system software researcher with experience in modeling, distributed systems, interconnect architecture, and advanced memory architectures. You will be researching and prototyping distributed system architectures for next-generation high performance computing, data science, and machine learning platforms. This role requires deep experience in modeling and analysis of systems and applications, including analysis of large-scale computer system interconnect architecture.

Demonstrated evidence of two or more of the following skills is a big plus:
A Ph.D. or MS with 6+ years of work (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred.
