The Device and Partner Sales (DPS) team plays a critical role in achieving this mission. The Teams Rooms device sales lead role is an impactful role that sits at the intersection of Microsoft 365 & devices. More specifically this role focuses on leading device partner sales planning & execution for Microsoft Teams Rooms as part of the Hybrid Meetings priority. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain extensive relationships across sales, marketing and engineering within Microsoft and externally with Microsoft largest OEM and channel sales partners. This role will study key competitors carefully and develop effective sales strategies that accelerate market penetration and share for Teams Rooms.
Responsibilities
You will own sales planning for Teams Rooms devices as part of Microsoft’s Modern Work Solution Area (~30%)
Own sales strategy and planning for Teams Rooms devices in commercial segment
Drive integration of and influence for device partners into overall sales play definition and orchestration
Build effective working relationships within and on behalf of DPS with key stakeholder groups (GPS, Solution Area, Marketing, Engineering)
You will lead Teams Rooms device sales landing/execution for DPSS, more broadly within Microsoft and externally with select partners (~50%)
Drive sales outcomes required to hit quarterly and annual sales targets for Teams Rooms
Guide & support DPSS regional sales teams with strong community based approach (build and scale through others)
Lead DPSS sales strategy and execution for the OEM sell through / sell with motions
Develop effective internal (DPS Partner Account Managers ) and external (OEM Sales Executives) partnerships
You will deliver deep insights back to the business and keep knowledge current (~20%)
Develop deep insight on sales blockers and communicate effectively in order to influence strategy changes in product and/or go to market
Continually work to refine / improve the OEM sell through / sell with motions to accelerate growth
Understand the Hybrid Meetings / Meeting Rooms competitive landscape, build insights and lead thinking on solutions to key challenges

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
Professional Experience
Experienced. 5+ years of related commercial sales experience with preference to sales strategy for video collaboration / meeting room solutions
Partner Sales. 3-5 years of demonstrated ability to scale through partner sales in a partner led or partner co-sell motion, work with OEM's a plus
Performer. Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals
Collaborative. Work effectively across wide variety of internal partner groups across sales and marketing
Executive Presence. Effective engagement and demonstrated influence at all levels of the organization
Education
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
