 The AMD Physical Design team is looking for an experienced Physical Design Lead to drive the successful execution and completion for high end GPU Physical Designs. As part of the Radeon Technology Group at AMD, be part of the team responsible for delivering the next generation cutting edge graphics, latest technologies, brand new architectures, and very large and complex designs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior Physical Design EngineersDrive innovation and productivity improvements in several Physical Design areasHave prior experience and in depth knowledge on Chip Level Floor planning, Bus / Pin Planning, Clock Tree Synthesis, Placement, Optimization, Routing, Parasitic Extraction, Static Timing Analysis, IR drop analysis, Physical Verification and Sign OffHaver strong technical problem solving skillsExperience with flow development and scriptingKnowledge for DRC rule deck useful
 REQUIREMENTS:2+ years Experience in ASIC Design with relevant Physical Design Skills preferredMinimum BSEE/CE, or equivalent degree, Masters is definitely as assetExcellent analytical and problem solving skills along with attention to detailsStrong communication, Time Management and Presentation SkillsMust be a technical leader able to independently and efficiently drive all tasks to completionAbility to provide mentorship and guidance to Team members and be a very effective team playerWorking experience on CAD tools from Synopsys and Cadence required
