We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to assist with maturing our CO+I Resilience Programs and tools. Our focus is on preparing our organization and datacenters to respond to unforeseen events and business interruptions as well as to respond to critical events around the world. This position supports an on-going development and management of the CO+I Resilience tools, plans, templates, and documentation using methods which are consistent with Microsoft’s internal policies, industry standards, and best practices. The goal of this program is to ensure a state of readiness that enables an appropriate response to any event that could compromise Microsoft’s global datacenters.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing and implementing global business continuity and emergency response programs, training teams in large enterprises, and measuring the effectiveness of programs through exercises and managing real events. You should have experience setting a strategy and successfully executing against the predefined milestones. You should have experience working with and influencing senior leaders. The successful candidate will be able to understand the value of our current state program, but also be able to envisage where we need to go to support an ever-changing company and risk environment. You should have experience being an ambassador for a program with numerous, diverse stakeholders. Knowing how to influence others without authority is a skill that is critical to the success of this role – both during day-to-day efforts as well as during incidents. You must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
