The Role:
As Senior Program manager for the advanced packaging group, you are responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules, tracking deliverables, provide updates and facilitate feedback between Chip Design, Package design, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, external partners to develop advanced package architectures for new products with minimal guidance. The role also involves managing the teams’ meeting structures (staff and staff+1 weeklies/agendas), team spend tracking/maintain program expense estimates and managing R-gate progress across the various advanced packaging programs, as well as preparing Advanced packaging leader and his staff for the multiple executive reviews. The manager is also expected to develop, define, and document business processes to allow scaling & efficiency for the advanced packaging team.
You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of hardware, silicon/package design fundamentals, a solid background working with packaging or foundry projects, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with cross-functional teams to develop ground-breaking products. Your contributions will make a pronounced difference to future AMD processors and packaging roadmap.
