Program Manager Analyst-  120783

The Person:

In this role you will apply your program management skills to coordinate the activities and gather the inputs of the key resources.  Archive the knowledge gained from previous projects, making sure the knowledge is accessible and available for future projects. Being able to manage multiple projects will be necessary.

Major functions:

• Assist Package Development Engineers and liaise with internal stakeholders, to consolidate assembly samples build demand.
• Submit Special Manufacturing Requests to manufacturing sites, using inputs from engineers, to initiate package assembly samples builds.  Track build requests to be sure they are started on schedule, completed, and billed in timely fashion.
• Update project trackers and reports.
• Prepare “Shopping Cart” entries that result in Purchase Orders, aligned to forecast plan, with follow up through delivery date, including timely invoicing and posting to SAP.
• Work in partnership with all teams including Procurements, Business Units, and various engineering teams.
• Works on related projects and/or assignments as required to support a growing Packaging Team.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, web browser interface to multiple planning tools.
• Process oriented thinking.
• Semiconductor Product manufacturing processes and flow
• Willingness to learn.
• Attention to details.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• Self-starter, who is pro-active and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work with geographically distributed engineering and manufacturing team

Preferred Experience:

• Semiconductor Chip Packaging Assembly
• Semiconductor product development
• Knowledge of electronics or board assembly processes will be helpful
• Supply Chain coordination
• Industrial Distribution
• Prototyping or development of electronic components, e.g. microprocessors , graphics cards or PC’s

BS Engineering, Supply Chain or Industrial Distribution
