Our reputable client in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-month contract. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the day to day and month end entries, preparation, and the analysis of the month end results for the upstream operating business unit. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing results to the corporate reporting team, other various filings and may be involved with other various initiatives and projects as needed.

The successful Senior Financial Analyst will have a minimum of 5 years accounting and analytical experience ideally working in a larger entity environment along with larger data sets and understanding of how to work in a deadline driven month end close workflow. Candidates will be given preference with a CPA designation, experience with SAP and the oil and gas industry.
