Senior Financial Analyst
The role:
The senior financial analyst is a meaningful role in the success of the business. This role will partner with the Data Center Graphics (CG) business unit staff to provide the financial analysis (e.g. profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) to influence decisions that enable the business to optimally plan and deliver results.

We are looking for the ideal candidate that should have a bias for action, a high sense of collaboration, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, we are looking for a teammate with leadership experience that will take ownership of the role, drive improvements in execution, and implement standardized work. The role requires someone with the capability to grow within the position and in the future, rotate to Finance leadership positions within the Company. Are you ready to join our team?
Key responsibilities:
- Help prepare and track against the annual financial plan, including balance sheet, income statement, and capital plan as well as periodic financial forecasting activities for each as defined by the Corporate calendar.
- Report out to managers regarding where they are tracking against plan & work with them to development of action plans to address variances from the plan.
- Understand and identify risks and potential problem areas and propose potential solutions and operational improvements to issues or problems.
- Provide cross-functional support and actively participate in specific business initiatives/projects and to help ensure financial goals are met.
- Works with business partners to build financial models to support the decision-making process as vitally necessary
- Provide month-end accounting and financial support as necessary including recording of journal entries and monthly plan & forecast to actual analysis & reporting and develop schedules to help explain variances.
- Provide day-to-day financial support by providing approvals for personnel requisition requests and purchase requisitions and ensure they are supported by the budget.
- Apply strong excel skills to drive efficiencies, improve reporting and automate tasks utilizing sophisticated formulas and functions.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written, especially communication of financial results and information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skills is required. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
- Ability to analyze and translate outcomes of financial models and data into insights to drive the business
- Strong understanding of Finance/Accounting concepts and a general understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong business and financial skill
- Excellent understanding of/or skills with financial planning & reporting systems. SAP experience is preferable. Data mining and database leadership skills would be useful.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related
