Sr. Business Analyst, Embedded Operations

 

The Role:

This role is a key position within the AMD Embedded Business Operations team. The successful candidate will help support the key business goals of annual revenue, market share, gross margin and inventory targets. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Product Engineering and Global Sales.

 

The Person:

Organized and detail-oriented, you're comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment while successfully managing toward Key Performance Indicators.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Planning responsibility for key product lines:

  • Review all planning inputs with functional owners to drive accountability and data accuracy (Yields, BOM, Capacity, etc.)
  • Provide product intelligence and required actions in the generation of the inventory forecast against anticipated product demand.

Provide weekly data management support to DESG Business Operations team:

  • Recommend demand shaping opportunities to achieve business goals.
  • Supply Request Plan, Billing/Backlog Analysis, Build Change Request update support

Consolidate Embedded Inventory analysis:

  • New Product Introduction
  • Weekly inventory updates and Aged Inventory Review
  • Sales & Operations Planning roll forward
  • Sample plan management, tracking and reporting

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to multi-task and program manage several activities.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and can communicate effectively via face-to-face, conference call and email environments.
  • Highly analytical, possessing a good sense of financeaccounting and inventory management principles
  • Advanced-level experience of Microsoft Office applications, especially ExcelPowerPoint, Power BI, SQL and Access.

 

Academic Credentials:

4-year degree (preferred) in Supply Chain, Business or Computer Science
