The opportunity

We have two new opportunities for Senior Middleware Specialist with Temporary full time roles upto 2 years within Regional Delivery & Safety (RDS). The role is to manage all the work of applications, databases, servers, system engineer and clients. The stack may be a mobile stack, a web stack or a native application stack. The role manages both the front and back end of a applications/data stack.

You will

• Being a Senior Full Stack Application Developer
• Analysis of requirements and technical specification
• Ability to design complex applications and write design documents for technical specifications
• Develop and maintain online web products using Java (or) .NET based technology stack
• Develop and maintain front-end Single Page responsive Applications using Angular/React or similar frameworks
• Development and maintenance of REST APIs.
• End to End delivery of enhancements to Production environment includes estimation, impact analysis, develop/fix defects, and follow standard processes to promote enhancements/fixes to further environments.
• Establish and demonstrate best practices for UI and Server side standards.
• Ability to bring experience and ideas to enhance existing development capability
• Empowerment to envision product improvement opportunities, aligned to business vision and roadmap
• Oversight of strategic vendor delivery, with respect to assessment, design, development, code quality, application release brief, product implementation plan.
• Ability to automate application deployments using CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Sonarqube, JFrog, Ansible and XL Release/Deploy

About you

To be successful in the role you will

• Have have tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant experience
• Full Stack Java (or) .NET Development You have 7+years of experience using Web based technology stack on commercial platforms including experience with one of the following technologies stack group.

• JDK 6+, Servlets, JSPs, Struts, JSF, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, REST APIs.
• NET 2.0/4.0, .NET Core, Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, MS Access, VB .NET, SSRS, C#, NHIBERNATE, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server and REST APIs.

• Proficient with Android and iOS app development. You have 3+years of experience using front end and hybrid mobile apps technology stack including experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Ionic and Angular 2+.
• Tools Experience. You have 5+years of experience using tools on commercial platforms including IntelliJ, Git/Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA, Confluence, SOAP UI, My SQL Developer/any DB client tool.
• Commercial Platform Experience. You have 7+years of experience on different commercial platforms including Unix/Linux/Solaris/Windows 10/Windows Server.
• Hybrid Cloud Experience. You have good experience in developing applications on AWS cloud platform (mainly with Kubernetes/EKS) or on Azure.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. You encourage diversity of thought and thrive in a team environment. You have good facilitation skills that guide discussions into outcomes.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 9 ($138,670.00 - $155,309.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
