JOB DESCRIPTION:
Advancing Platform Engineering’s capabilities in silicon/system emulation. Execution of x86 and/or ARM based system and silicon level test plans for an emulation environment and create / improve automation capabilities for system and silicon features. 

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

Individual will be involved in hardware/software design improvements to the emulation environment to expedite test capabilities. Assist in experiments, diagnostics and analysis procedures with the goal of finding silicon and infrastructure bugs prior to device tape out and prior to lab bring-up. A successful candidate must have some knowledge of x86 and/or ARM architecture, RTL, Ruby or similar programming language and be a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon and platform failures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

In progress towards a BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering; GPA of at least 3.0/4.0. Solid understanding of basic computer architecture. Familiarity with Linux, Perl, Java, and regular expressions is preferred.
