THE ROLE: 

AMD’s Server Core Firmware team is looking for a Fall Co-op/Intern candidate to develop targeted tests to validate our microcontroller firmware.  The engineer will develop new software tests that will be incorporated in our continuous integration infrastructure across AMD.  The engineer/developer will work closely with the development, quality assurance, and validation teams to create tests that will be integrated with our CI systems.

THE PERSON: 

Currently enrolled student studying computer science, electrical engineering, etc. to develop targeted test suites to validate our embedded firmware. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Course work in computer architecture.
• Experience with C or Python.

EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, or related with anticipated graduation of May 2023 or sooner.
