We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated person with exceptional people skills who relishes the opportunity to empower vulnerable individuals to regain control of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of Specialist Support Worker is fundamental to the Salvation Army’s desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes and as such you will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable clients in a competitive climate. You will also champion excellence in terms of ensuring our clients are central to our services and successful individual outcomes are achieved.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

• Extensive experience working within vulnerable adults
• Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent in a related field or be willing to work towards it.

As a Specialist Support Worker you will provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of trafficking, including sexual exploitation, domestic servitude forced labour and other forms of human trafficking. Delivering a service to those at highest risk as well as working within a multi-agency framework working with the Home Office, police, medical practitioners, local authority and housing.

Due to the nature of the service we are unable to disclose the exact location of the safehouse, however this position is within the Nottingham area.
