We are currently engaged in a multi-million pound programme to deliver our ultrafast fibre product to consumer and business customers.  This is using state of the art telco platforms such as Pega PRPC, CSGI SingleView, HP Service Activator and others alongside all the good stuff like microservices architecture, API’s, Azure etc... 

Digital transformation of our online estate is one of the biggest focusses in our business, in fact Digital is at the forefront of everything TalkTalk do.  This all means we are investing heavily in new IT applications to improve the customer experience and ensure our systems are fit for the future.

This includes:

• Multi-million £ development to rebuild and re-platform our Online Sales Journey
• Mixed on perm and cloud deployment in MS Azure
• Angular frontend
• Modern SaaS cloud platforms for authentication (Auth0) and Content Management ( Contentful)
• Omni-Channel capability: New Sales Channels APIs - rule engine driven - that will be able to ultimately drive all sales channels 
• Completely new, from-scratch implementation of a modern Order Management Platform - aiming for automated processing (STP) of 100% of all orders
• Modern architecture, utilising RESTful microservices where possible

Personal specification:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent
• Experience working on complex IT projects, with some past experience in development (for example: .NET, C#, C++, Java, SQL, Oracle)
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, verbally and in documentation/presentation
• Knowledge of architecture and design techniques (such as UML, SOA, data modelling etc.)

Knowledge of telecommunications systems and products would be beneficial (BSS/OSS, Networks, LLU, Fibre, Ethernet, SIP).
