We are looking for eligible Software Engineers with a strong and proven record of top-notch design and code development skills.  This position will play a key role in driving the advanced auto-analysis and auto-mitigation system for Azure Storage, while delivering continued improvements as well as pathbreaking features at a high quality.  The candidate will work on the latest server technologies and highly distributed systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, consistency and debuggability.

Qualifications

To be successful, you must thrive on solving problems related with data and index management at a very large scale in a multi-tenant environment. You must have passion for storage and distributed systems.

The position requires:

• Strong distributed systems knowledge
• 1-2  years of building scalable system software and/or Services
• Experience in coding in C++, C#, Java etc.
• Hands on development experience for large scale system, designing and writing code.
• Passion for customers
• Good collaboration skills
• Prior experience in the data management would be ideal.
• BS, MS, PHD or equivalent experience
