What you’ll do:

As a member of BCAM, you’ll help drive improvements and create new functionality on our platforms to provide real-time data and insights to our operations teams.

• Become the Technical Lead on a wide range of projects which contribute to the unified OMS (Operational Management System), including development of new features for channel launches, automating time consuming manual processes and building software solutions for keeping Sky compliant with Ofcom regulations.

• Be part of the planning, design, development, enhancement and implementation of BCAM (Broadcast Control & Monitoring) network management system solutions.

• Oversee the design and implementation of platform enhancements such as user-requested features and toolsets.

• Work as part of the team to assist with the strategic development and progress of the BCAM OMS platform.

• Be one of the primary points of contact for providing software expertise & knowledge for complex support issues.

• Provide 2nd line support as business needs demand to maintain platform availability and continuity.

• Become deputy Team Lead as and when required on projects and during times of absence.

What you’ll bring:

• A degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics is not essential but would be desired.

• Software development experience using C# .NET

• Appreciation of software unit testing.

• An understanding of MVP (minimum viable product) with respect to application and system .development would be highly desirable.

• An understanding of SQL Server stored procedure and table design and development.

• Creative problem-solver; ability to learn new technologies and apply these quickly to the business.

• Ability to communicate ideas and opinions at senior levels.

• Thrives in a fast-paced and progressive environment.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
