Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of service execution and life cycle (design, development, quality assurance, production deployment, service availability, reliability, and live site monitoring), including but not limited to:

• Consider customer’s perspective and experiences when designing systems.
• Design, write and deliver micro-service implementation with focus on quality, simplicity, & maintainability.
• Investigate and search for technical difficulties with uncertainty and come out with proposals, drive for a solution with discussion/reviewing with senior members and lead in the entire team.
• Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the project team to deliver high quality solutions from envisioning to implementation to live site availability.
• Meet GA criteria as an Azure services and Microsoft common practice for you owned service: including Azure PLR, S360.
• Participate in DRI duties for our service, rotating across the entire team in partnership with our Redmond and Lagos team.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Engineer or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++/object-oriented programming.
• Familiar in web technologies (JavaScript/Typescript/CSS). 
• Experience in cloud services, systems programming, operating systems, distributed systems, databases is a plus.
• Experience in Big Data (Cosmos/Asimov, Spark, Azure Databricks) is a plus.
