We’re looking for a strong, experienced software engineer who is passionate about building next generation text input experiences and is capable of leading the team that focuses on but not limited to Text Input features targeting the wide breadth of spoken languages beyond English/Latin originated languages.
Working together with other disciplines such as Program Manager (PM) and Data and Applied Scientists (DAS), you will be leading the effort to design and build text input experience that is highly competitive, with improved throughput and functions to assist customers to be more efficient and expressive. You will be in charge of designing the architecture that scales to numerous applications with seamlessly integrated experience and high quality. Holding high bar for quality of customer experience is your number 1 priority. You'll be owning an end to end scope for designing and building a critical component to the experience.
An ideal candidate for this position should possess demonstrated ability for coding, component design, and large-scale software architecture, with product development experiences in Windows and/or similar scale operating system. We also look for the ability to work efficiently in the technology areas of data analysis, machine learning, AI and new hardware.
High bandwidth communication skills are critical, both at written and spoken English. Language skills in Chinese, Japanese and other Asian languages are highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience and fluency in C++ language are required, and expereince with system level components are desred.
