The xCloud Team (Xbox Game Streaming) is growing a team focused on using its server hardware to run alternative cloud workloads. The team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ skills, that is passionate about authoring and debugging native components running all over an Operating System, from user mode to kernel mode.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant feature development with relevant partner teams
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix product issues in development and production
• Contribute to an inclusive, creative, high-performance problem-solving team culture
• Reliably deliver high quality, testable, measurable, and reliable code in a production setting
• Coach, mentor, and grow junior team members

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional C/C++ coding experience
• Comfortable debugging in a multi-process environment with a kernel debugger
• Excellent skills in design, debugging, and problem solving
• Great communication abilities
• Passionate about video games

Highly valued

• Professional experience coding/debugging kernel or driver changes (Windows or Linux)
• Experience with container workloads and container runtimes.
