We're currently engaged in a programme to transform and migrate a collection of legacy on-premise CRMs into the Microsoft SaaS Cloud. This is a hugely ambitious technical and business transformation. Our first several transformations are already complete with the aim to deliver the remaining cloud transformations through 2022. These cloud transformations are interlocked with business change and, as this programme delivers great results, we're seeing a “virtuous cycle” where success is driving an increased appetite from the business for “more CRM”.

Core purpose of the role

We have an excellent opportunity to join our Engineering Core Platforms team as a CRM Software Engineer, delivering solutions to Lloyds Banking Group business areas. The Software Engineer CRM role is a great blend of technical skills and business acumen; CRM done well can transform a business. This will suit a driven individual who has both technical and business skills. The aim is to deliver the highest quality customer focused software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring, and supporting their engineering teams, whilst working in customer-centric cross-disciplinary teams.

You'll be a self-motivated and proactive teammate who has an eye on the bigger picture but can apply laser focus to ensure delivery. You're up for the challenge of working on a large, sophisticated programme that will drive significant change across our business. You'll enjoy storytelling, look to identify associations and gaps, ask the questions others don’t, drive out clarity from ambiguity and be able to challenge the norm to drive business outcome. You'll demonstrate thought-leadership, encourage positive change, and have the technical ability and drive to deliver those aspirations.

Essential

Experience in following areas:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM D365 on-premise.
  • Skilful in Microsoft Evergreen D365 SaaS CRM and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience of integrating Microsoft Cloud SaaS Service with on-premise data sources and integrating Microsoft Exchange with CRMs.
  • Experience of enterprise distribution of the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.
  • Understanding commercial impact of technical options.

We’d also welcome someone with the following desirable skills and experience:

  • Ability to understand business MI requirements and collaborate with colleagues to prototype MI dashboards (using either inbuilt CRM Dashboard capability or integrating Power BI).
  • Experience articulating difficult technical issues to business colleagues or non-technical colleagues.
  • Able to collaborate with business colleagues and quickly prototype CRM User Interface prototypes using CRM Dev Environments as a Rapid Application Development tool.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a “can do” attitude.

In return, we offer an excellent package including: base salary (dependent on location) Base Salary £57, 861 - £75, 710 (London only), and £50, 130 - £65, 490 (Edinburgh) plus 4% flexible cash pot (take as cash), annual discretionary award, up to 15% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, and access to share scheme and various staff discounts!
