This could include anything such as the backend of our sites, site search, our innovative API Browser, video hosting, advanced personalization or more. This team builds them all.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, build and maintain features, services and entire systems. Primarily for use as part of the infrastructure of Growth Engineering web experiences such as docs.microsoft.com and azure.microsoft.com. Work will primarily be .NET and deployed to Azure.

Qualifications

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in software engineer role
• Experience using Git or other distributed version control system
• Experience working in an agile, live site/devops culture that deploys code frequently and automates everything from tests to builds to infrastructure deployment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with delivering largescale cloud-based services using Azure, AWS or equivalent
• Experience with setting up automations through scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, or equivalent
• Experience with Azure DevOps work item tracking, build, and release systems, or equivalent
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues
