Azure Machine Learning (AML) vision is to democratize Machine Learning technology and make it readily available to every enterprise, developer, and data scientist. One of the fundamental parts of Azure Machine Learning is AML Pipelines through which data scientists can build pipelines for data prep, training, validation, packaging, and deploy Machine Learning models at scale over heterogeneous compute frameworks. AML Pipelines adoption is growing across Microsoft and Azure customers, and we are looking for a Software Engineer ready to help design, build, and operate a Machine Learning Cloud platform at scale. This role will provide opportunities to be part of a vibrant Azure Machine Learning team fundamental at driving technical consensus and direction for Machine Learning field.

No Machine Learning experience required, we look for an engineer capable and passionate to solve problems in distributed systems, scalability and reliability, while building knowledge in the Machine Learning domain.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AML Pipelines microservices, components, and features
• Respond to customer scenarios and feedback to help them run complex ML training graphs over heterogeneous compute platforms
• Participate in our Dev Ops lifecycle as a champion of service quality, reliability, and outcomes for AML customers

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years experience in C#, Java, Python, C++ or equivalent languages
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating secure, distributed microservices.

Preferred:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience building services on the Azure Platform, AWS, etc
• Experience with .net core
