Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

Azure Quota team is looking for passionate Engineers who want to work on a large scale distributed services and solve challenging problems at scale that impact consumer as well as enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Design , implement and deliver high-quality scalable and reliable distributed cloud solutions
• Work through the entire Software Engineering Life Cycle - From inception, requirements gathering to launching a feature.
• Leverage and use best practices, and automated quality gates necessary to ensure consistent implementation of components across team
• Contribute to the architecture, design reviews for across multiple components
• Drive execution and demonstrate end to end ownership of technical projects tasks to successful completion

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with experience in C#, C++ or Java

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Hands on experience building and maintaining microservices
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL storage technologies
• Familiarity with distributed systems and event driven architectures
• Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team
