We develop an AI powered Feedback Platform for all of Microsoft. Hundreds of teams across Microsoft leverage this platform to get customer feedback directly from within their Applications and Services across Web, Mobile, Windows and Mac. Our platform also enables these teams to process millions of pieces of feedback every month to derive critical insights to increase customer satisfaction and reduce support costs, and release with confidence.

We are looking for a rock star Software Engineer 2 for our Feedback In-App experiences team in Dublin, Ireland. This team focuses on developing intelligent in-app feedback experiences that enable Microsoft’s customers to provide highly actionable in-product feedback. The team is also responsible for building feedback collection experiences within Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) across Web, Windows, iOS, Android, and Mac.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing high quality features with deep levels of diagnostics, telemetry and measurements for our existing feedback collection SDKs and feedback collection experiences within Microsoft Office.
• Contributing to the design of the next generation feedback platform that will be architected for rapid innovation and adoption by product teams across Microsoft.
• Collaborating with others across engineering and program management regularly.
• Working closely with partner teams enabling them to collect rich, actionable, and high-quality feedback through our SDKs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial development experience working on low level features using C/C++/C#/Java.
• 2+ years of commercial development experience with Web applications using React / React Native / Angular.
• Strong experience collaborating with others in designing and developing client-side software.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong empathy for our customers and partners.
• Strong Computer Science foundations.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
