Responsibilities

Our Silicon Valley team is looking for a Software Engineer II to work on data plane enablement in connectivity scenarios required by Azure Dedicated workloads. This role will primarily focus on designing and developing software features to bring mission critical workloads on parity with Azure VMs. You will innovate on the next generation Azure Dedicated common platform that embraces a heterogeneou mixture of workloads in a homegeneous way. This role offers great opportunity to work with many partner teams and gain broad exposure to control plane and data plane technologies end-to-end.  More specific responsibilities include:

- Design and develop networking features for the Azure Dedicated SDN Appliance.
- Develop, setup, and execute tests before feature releases.
- Create monitoring and diagnostic tools to maintain quality of service.
- Innovate on providing the best networking experience for Azure Dedicated customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in CS, or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in software development in the networking stack.
Understanding of TCP/IP and and data center networking.
Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
Kernel space experience preferred.
