About the Role

Do you have experience supporting managed services customers and also skills in project delivery? Are you looking for a place to grow and to gain exposure to new technologies? Then you’re the kind of person we want working at Datacom in our Endpoint Engineering and SOE team. As a seasoned engineer supporting large and complex customers, you will bring with you the ability to provide exceptional service in endpoint management across our customer portfolio. Your macOS (desirable) and Windows traditional and modern management experience will be key to your success in the role. Your ability to deliver project work to an exceptional standard and transition these solutions into support will be an important component to your contribution in this high performing team.

We place a high degree of focus on developing our staff internally and offer financial incentives for engineers that certify in the technologies we use to support our customers.

This role is open in all of our Datacom offices in Australia.

What you’ll do

As an Endpoint Engineering Engineer or SOE Engineer, you will:

Deliver support services to customers in accordance with SLAs

Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers

Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team

Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end user environment

Assume the role of technical leader in deployment projects as required

Ensure project design principals result in service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for the customer/Datacom post implementation

Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., change/release).

Package desktop applications for remote deployment

Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested

Assist with the identification and implementation of shift left initiatives

To be eligible for the role you must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain NV1 clearance (applicants with an existing NV1 clearance preferred).
