The Role

We are currently looking for a Small Works Manager. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of small, fast-paced contracts (these can be anything from a £500 painting/decorating job through to a £100,000 light refurbishment). Due to the high number of projects this position will lend itself to someone who is very organised.

All works within this division are done off a schedule of rates. As the work comes in, you will be responsible for visiting site and meeting the end user client, clarifying the scope of works and putting the final schedule together (alongside a QS). Once agreed you will then be responsible for the successful delivery of said projects.

The majority of the work will be located either in London or within an hour or so of our clients offices in East London. That being said they will operate up and down the Country for certain clients - you will inherit live schemes in both Manchester and Leicester to begin with. As a result you must be OK with travelling to and from these projects (all travel expenses are covered).

The Salary

In return our client will be looking to offer a salary of circa £50,000 + package.
