2022 is almost here and we’re about to start working on some fantastic projects. We’re hiring! And we would love for you join our company, Auckland’s premier metal design and fabrication business.

We are looking for expressions of interest for the positions of a Site Installer Welders.

No 2 days are the same with lots of variety of projects such as architectural design buildings, high end res, prisons, shopping malls, civil infrastructure etc. Working under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, as part of a small team, you’ll have the capacity to follow instructions and interpret sketches and drawings with a focus on welding to install the various product These are usually one off bespoke pieces that sometimes need out of the box solutions or initiative to execute a quality install.

Responsibilities include:

• Weld metals together on site to achieve compliant quality results
• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Skills and experience required:

• 2+ years onsite as an installer/welder
• Good command of English and communicates well
• Ability to read shop sketches and blueprints
• Good skills and abilities in layout and fabrication
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Welding qualification
