A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing. Sightline is PwC Canada’s proprietary pricing and engagement management system. The Manager, Sightline Engagement Optimization will be a key member of the team supporting the implementation, adoption, and future development of this critical business process. This multifaceted role involves working directly with our client-facing teams to help them understand the mechanics of pricing and engagement management and how to execute them in Sightline; assisting senior members of the Finance Transformation team in our Business Planning, Analysis & Insights group in designing and building future enhancements and releases of the tool; and supporting and troubleshooting technical issues and questions from both users and the technical development team.

What you'll create and do
As a Manager you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understand and communicate the purpose, functionality and importance of the Sightline Engagement Optimization (“Sightlineâ€) tool to stakeholders
Become the Sightline subject matter expert for technical requirements
Document, compile and communicate user feedback to Sightline leadership for incorporation in future enhancements or release
First line of support for Sightline Central regarding questions from users on functionality, technical and engagement planning encountered in using Sightline to optimize financial performance
Contribute to development of collateral associated with Sightline (user guides, L&D materials, etc.)
As part of the Sightline Team, engage in project management activities associated with future development and releases with the Sightline and development teams, including requirements gathering, preparation of process flows, etc.
Contribute to the design and development of enhancements and future releases of the Sightline tool through project management, participation in calls with line of service stakeholders, third-party vendors and our own Products & Technology team
Lead interactive training sessions across our lines of service with our users to embed understanding and adoption of Sightline as a key Firm management system

Degree in Business Administration
Certification in Program Management or Software Development an asset
Experience working with business stakeholders in a professional services firm environment
Experience in software development and project management an asset
Knowledge of product/project management software and tools (Azure DevOps, Asana, etc.)
Knowledge of utilizing agile methodologies in the delivery of products and projects
Knowledge of fundamentals of engagement economics in a professional services environment an asset
Excellent communication skills and ability to increase adoption of new technologies and processes
Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate and influence diverse stakeholders
Must be able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced software-development environment
Comfortable delivering advice and taking feedback in high-pressure environments
Demonstrated skill in managing conflicting viewpoints and stakeholders
