About the role

Normans operate a fleet of container units between Auckland, Waikato and the Bay Of Plenty.

We are seeking an energetic operator to join our team full-time to help us deliver the high-level service our customers rely on.

The candidate we are looking for must be prepared to go above and beyond, be a team player and have a positive can-do attitude. Attention to detail is a must. Experience on a side loader is preferable however if you’re keen to learn and have a strong work ethic, we want to talk with you.

The side loader operator position reports to the respective coordinator & Transport Manager and is responsible for truck operation, collections and deliveries directly to/from clients, truck loading/unloading, be responsible for the presentation of the allocated truck, alerting management when the unit is due for R&M, be motivated and help your team to meet timelines and uphold the professional image of Normans.
