Our client is a leading provider of commercial painting services across all industry sectors including education, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, and transport, in Australia and New Zealand.

About the role :

As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for new sales development through identifying prospective opportunities, developing customer relationships and following core strategies for growth.

You will actively engage across assigned regions to strive to successfully deliver consistent business and revenue growth in line with your individual and regional sales targets.

In this role, we're counting on you to :

  • Develop and actively manage strong working relationships with franchisees, customers, and prospects, delivering business growth.
  • Be results driven! Actively seek out new business opportunities to build on already existing leads.
  • Be a team player! Be an active member of the team, pitching in where needed offering support and solutions when required.
  • Deliver on your promises, by delivering proposals and services on time and to standard.
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proven success in a new business development sales environment, ideally in services, and preferably within the construction industry
  • The ability to ask questions and gain understanding of our clients' needs
  • The capacity to give a consultative approach, offering the best solutions, according to our client's needs
  • Strong time and lead management skills
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Amazing customer services and great customer engagement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional areas, marketing resources and influence key areas to achieve the best outcomes
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or relevant discipline (desirable)
