Beyond recruitment’s services have once again been engaged by a 70+ year old institution to source their latest talent. The client branched out to the New Zealand market 24 years ago with their packaging production facility, and have grown exponentially in scale with 11 facilities across New Zealand and employ more than 900 people locally. Their facility’s now cover the market in the production of glass, cardboard/plastic packaging and pulp/paper. Being an environmentally aware business, they are also market leaders in their material recovery facility’s (MRF), managing the recycling of 30% of New Zealand’s kerbside waste.

About the Role

The role will be as a member of the Engineering team at the main recycling facility in central Auckland. You will be working as part of a cohesive team, attending breakdowns, running scheduled maintenance, fabrication and welding, breaking down and rebuilding machinery, and replacing components as and when required. This position will involve a fortnightly rotating shift, 40 hours per week with 12 hours overtime during weekends.
