Our client, a large publicly traded Canadian financial institution and leading alternative lender, is adding a Senior Financial Analyst, Shareholder & Financial Reporting to their growing team. The primary purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst, Shareholder & Financial Reporting (SFA) is to assist in the execution of the processes and preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements which are provided to senior management, regulators and shareholders, while ensuring timeliness, high quality and compliance with accounting standards and regulations (i.e., IFRS. OSC and OSFI requirements).

· Shareholder & Investor Reporting.
· Internal Financial Statement & Regulatory Reporting.
· System and Process Improvement, Accounting Policy and Special Projects.
· Risk and Compliance.

Your Key Qualifications:
· You are a CPA currently at a large public accounting firm in FI Audit; or a CPA from a large public accounting firm working for a Financial Institution in external financial/regulatory reporting.
· University degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
· 4+ years of financial reporting and financial statement audit experience.
· 2+ years of experience with company public reporting.
· MD& A experience considered a huge asset.
· Good familiarity with the nature of accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
· Large data management experience, and advanced Excel skills.
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to advanced proficiency).
· Experience with SAP, Cognos, CDM and Power BI is an asset.
